In support of Medicine Hat Police Service Constable Steier, a community blood drive challenge is being issued by the four areas of emergency services – EMS / Fire / Dispatch / Police to see who can gather the most units of blood. Donors may show up in their uniforms to the local blood drive in honor of one of our own emergency services personnel. There would be no real losers in this "contest" and it is something we could all do (and our families) to help show this man that we stand behind him; both in spirit and to make a statement for him as a member of our community. These four services must work together to not only do our job to protect the public but to protect each other. This would be a nice way to do something tangible and beneficial to our community as well in his honor. The public is always encouraged to give blood. These are the following dates and times for the up and coming blood drive at the MH Lodge: March 16th and April 13th the hours of operation are: 11:30-13:30 and 15:00 -19:00 March 17th and April 14th the hours of operation are: 08:30-10:00 and 11:30-15:00
